Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
En Garde Consulting (the "firm") is committed to protecting your privacy. This page summarises what we collect, why, and how to exercise your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who we are
En Garde Consulting is a boutique management consultancy serving small and medium enterprises in the European Union. The data controller is the firm; you can reach us at enquiry@engarde-consulting.com.
What data we collect
We collect only what you actively submit through the enquiry form: your name, email address, company, and message. We also collect anonymous, aggregated browsing analytics if you consent to analytics cookies on the consent banner.
Cookies and local storage
The site uses two essential cookies (your consent choice and the hosting load-balancer session cookie) plus, if you opt in, Google Analytics cookies under Consent Mode v2. No personal data from the enquiry form is forwarded to analytics under any circumstance.
Why we collect it
Enquiry data is used solely to respond to your enquiry. Analytics data, if you consent, is used to understand how visitors discover and use the site, in aggregate.
Retention
Enquiry messages are retained for as long as the resulting commercial relationship requires; analytics data follows Google Analytics defaults (14 months by default).
Data sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. The only third parties who see any data are: our email provider (to deliver enquiry replies), our hosting provider (to serve the site), and Google Analytics (only if you consent).
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email enquiry@engarde-consulting.com.
